Why We Do This

Culinary and manufacturing skills can be powerful tools for individuals on the autism spectrum, offering them a unique avenue for communication and self-discovery. Puzzled Paws is dedicated to training, educating, and employing individuals affected by autism.

For Partner Organizations

Bring your group for a day trip

We also welcome other special-needs organizations to bring their clients to Puzzled Paws for a hands-on day trip — think of it as a work day, not a community-service placement. Groups of 6–8 join our team to help with sample packaging, baking, cleaning, and more.

For example, the Els for Autism ADT Program regularly brings clients in for a special day event with our team.

Note: day trips are for partner organizations and their clients — they don't earn individual community service hours the way our virtual advocacy and bakery volunteering programs do.
